Who We Are
We are a community of towns, that include Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Pittsboro and Hillsborough, North Carolina.
We are artists, sculptors, painters, potters and metal workers; authors, cooks and designers who welcome visitors to North Carolina and the central region, known as the Piedmont.
Orange County tourism information can be found at www.visitchapelhill.org and Chatham County information can be found at www.vistchathamcounty.com

Our Story
We are also an area full of prized-chefs, organic farmers, musicians, museums and road side potters. Of course, this area of the country is famous for story-tellers, word charmers, born exaggerators, so forgive us if we count ourselves among them when we say that to live in this region of the country is to be privileged as no one else in this great country can claim to be. Between James Taylor and Lee Smith; Siglinda Scarpa, Daniel Wallace and Folk Artist Clyde Jones, are a whole crop of writers, chefs, potters and artists whose contribution to literature, music and the arts goes beyond the merely local. Nationally and internationally, Orange and Chatham Counties has become a Carolina Culture Zone into itself.
